Wild Country Jerky is operated by Darla and Mike Trimm of Holley, New York. Our desire is to bring the tastes of the world to you in the form of jerky.

Being retired and ready for a new and different adventure, we decided that we wanted to create a business where we could reach out to the public and share our passion – unique and unusual meats both domestic and foreign. We started off with beef, buffalo, turkey, duck, salmon, tuna, trout and venison and soon learned that our customers were searching for more exotic jerkies as well.

We widened our inventory to include alligator, elk, wild boar, ostrich, yak, kangaroo, and alpaca. We even have rattlesnake. We chose Mountain America from Denver, Colorado, as our distributor because their premium meats are all natural, handmade, and hickory smoked. There are no artificial preservatives, MSGs, or nitrates. Each product comes in a vacuum-sealed pouch which is to be refrigerated after opening. However, this is typically not a problem for hikers, hunters, or anyone enjoying the outdoors. Once you start eating, you will want to finish the entire package. They are that tasty.

These wholesome jerkies are filling and healthy. The high quality meat strips provide protein needed to repair muscle, sodium to keep electrolytes in balance, carbs for quick energy, and fats which provide long term energy.

Everyone’s tastes are different, so it would be impossible to describe each type of jerky and the many flavorings (original, sweet and spicy, spicy, teriyaki, habanero, and Cajun). The best thing to do is surprise yourself with a new and exciting taste by trying them. They will not disappoint.
